Facebook had been part of how we showed up online for years, but after stepping back personally and feeling better for it, we made the same call for the company pages.

Looking at the numbers, almost none of our customers ever came through Facebook in the first place, which made the decision easier. We'd also long had reservations about how the platform handles user data, and reporting on internal research into its effects on users that was known and set aside made the choice straightforward.

If you'd like to keep up with updates, LinkedIn is where we're more likely to be — though we don't post often. Customers have generally found us rather than the other way around, and we're more interested in doing that authentically than chasing another feed.
