Our hosting partner, UpCloud, launched a new data center in Stockholm. The closer a site is hosted to its visitors, the faster it loads for them, so this opened up a genuinely fast, nearby option for our Nordic customers — migration is straightforward and can be done without downtime.
We chose UpCloud in the first place because so many of our customers are in Finland, and it matters to us to support Nordic infrastructure providers where we can. With Stockholm now in the mix, that extends naturally to Swedish customers too.
Where your data lives matters for more than just speed — EU customers benefit from data staying within the EU, and having infrastructure options nearby (rather than only in, say, the US) makes that easier to guarantee.
