A few years ago, someone registered a similar domain to ours and copied our content for what looked like fraudulent purposes. At the time, the Finnish domain registrar told us there was nothing that could be done.

So we applied for, and were granted, a European Union trademark (EUTM) for WP-Ensure — giving the brand legal protection across the EU and a real path to act against this kind of impersonation in future.

That trademark still stands. The company changed its name to WebEnsure, but the legal entity behind it — and its business ID — didn't change, so the protection this registration provides carries over.
